Permissions allow you to specify users and groups who are able to see or even edit the crosstab. By default, all crosstabs automatically assume the same permission settings as their parent dataset. With permissions, users can share content with other MarketSight users by using Key Findings or a URL link. The link can be copied and pasted into an email, a PowerPoint presentation, or even embedded into a website. Users who you share the content with are required to enter their MarketSight login credentials. All permissions settings apply to shared content.
Dashboards have an additional special capability - they can be made public, accessible to anyone and everyone, or shared by email the same way - no MarketSight account required to see it. If a dashboard is public, no MarketSight login is required to see the content. Dashboards can also be embedded into company websites. For more information, please contact Customer Service
